Dream Evil's fourth album, after the departure of drummer Snowy Shaw and guitarist Gus G. (replaced by Pat Power and Mark Black respectively), can't quite match the monster THE BOOK OF HEAVY METAL that came before it, but there's still plenty of metal pleasure with the likes of "Fire! Battle! In Metal!", "United" and "Let Me Out", while the lyrics veer to more of the evil side, with occasoinal references to Satan (there's even a "Hail Satan" a couple of times), although it's not clear what they're actually trying to say.
United is no classic, but what it does, it does well.
***1/2
