This debut for German band Symphorce has come as a very pleasant surprise for me, since I couldn't really remember a lot from it when I gave it a few listens a while ago. But there are a lot of fetching melodies in this collection, with the likes of "Wounded", "Retracing The Line", "Stronghold" and the ballad "Forevermore" amongst the highlights. Steady more than fast,
Truth To Promises remains an impressive commencement to this group's career.
