Nocturnal Rites' fifth album, at first, sounds like it's going to be an improvement on their previous
AFTERLIFE, thanks to the catchy opening song "Eyes Of The Dead", but there's little of note afterwards as they again sing of battles of gods versus evil, or something like that. Nocturnal Rites has never been a outstanding band, but at the moment, they are stuck in a rut of mediocrity.
